Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe, born August
26, 2002 is a popular American musician and singer. His single from 2019
"Ransom", was his breakout hit. The song peaked at number 4 on the
Billboard Hot 100. This single was part of his mixtape debut "We Love You Tecca"
(2019) that peaked at the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also
contained the singles Love Me and Did It Again. The album he released as his
debut, Virgo world (2020), debuted on the Billboard 200 at number 10. It also
featured the Billboard Hot 100 chart-charting songs "Dolly", and
"When You Down". The second mixtape, We Love You Tecca 2 was released
in August 2021. It included the songs "Repeat It", "Lot of
Me" as well as others. Tyler-Justin Anthony sharpe was the child of
Jamaican immigrants. He was born August 26, 2002, in Queens, New York City.
Sharpe was raised in Springfield Gardens a neighborhood of Queens, but later
relocated to Cedarhurst in Long Island. Sharpe had always hoped to make it into
the NBA as a child However, when he was 12 Sharpe made the decision to pursue a
career in music. Sharpe attended Lawrence High School. Tecca was nine years of
age when he began rapping on his Xbox. One of their diss tracks was uploaded to
SoundCloud some time ago but has since been removed. He initially had no plans
to pursue a music career although he did dream of becoming a NBA superstar. In
his middle school years However, he began to become bored with basketball and
started taking music seriously. The first track to become famous, "Tectri",
was recorded by Lil Gummybear in collaboration with Lil Gummybear and released
in the beginning of 2017. He also dropped "Callin" as one of his
first tracks. Tecca's career took off one year later with the hit single
"Ransom", which was posted to Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube
channel in May 22 the 22nd of May, 2019. The song peaked at 4 in the Billboard
Hot 100 charts and has been played more than 900,000,000 times on Spotify and
more than 300 million times on YouTube.
